Working with Our MembersAs technology changes, Community Financial continues to make great strides to integrate it into everyday banking. 2013 was a big year for Community Financial with the introduction of Mobile Deposit, a major website update and new branch openings.
As a credit union dedicated to making banking easier for our members, we made improvements in the things we know make a difference to our members. With the addition of Mobile Deposit, our members can now deposit checks on the go or in the comfort of their own home. Giving our members the convenience of Mobile Deposit was a high priority for 2013, along with the update of Community Financial’s website. It has a fresh new look and is easier to navigate across all platforms, allowing our members to find the answers they need online quickly. We broke ground on our new Livonia and Atlanta branches in 2013 as well, giving our members access to us from even more places in Michigan.
Community Financial also continued to promote personal financial education with Money Matter$ newsletter, weekly blogs and Money Minute videos. Our competitive rates on many types of loans, mortgages, credit cards and debt consolidation loans among others helped our members achieve and maintain financial security. Finally, our associates continued to provide excellent service to our members by emphasizing friendliness, courtesy and individualized attention. This attention to excellence was recognized for the eighth yeah in a row, as Community Financial was named one of “Metropolitan Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.”
