A Message from Board Chairman Al Berrie

Community Financial proudly recognizes its long-standing tradition as a trusted financial partner for our member/owners and as a business partner to the communities we serve. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Community Financial is governed by a member-elected volunteer board of directors who serve as trustees on behalf of the entire membership. The board works with CEO Bill Lawton and the executive leadership team to guide our credit union through a rapidly changing financial environment. It is our passion for service that sets us apart from other financial institutions.

Strong member relationships are built and maintained through the credit union team’s extraordinary level of member service and delivery of personalized solutions. You can always count on our team members to demonstrate a willingness to listen, to answer your questions and to be responsive to your needs. Our expertise, enhanced technology, competitive rates and responsible lending practices help individuals, families and businesses manage their money with the best possible products and services.

"Our team of directors and staff is proud of our reputation for helping members manage their finances, reduce debt, save, invest and find innovative ways to achieve their goals and dreams."

We are also committed to enhancing the communities we serve through donations and volunteerism. Plus, our no-cost educational seminars, free financial and debt counseling resources and our award winning Student-Run Credit Union program help members of all ages embrace the knowledge and tools that build confidence for making wise choices now as well as in the future.

Thank you for your continued support and loyal membership. Your referrals and personal accounts of your experiences as members of Community Financial help us spread the word to friends, neighbors, relatives and co-workers so they may also enjoy the benefits of credit union membership.

I also want to thank my fellow directors and the board’s supervisory committee for their dedication and willingness to serve the credit union on a volunteer basis. We will continue to work hard for you!
